Adult Program   New program! We meet monthly on the second Thursday of the month.

Chief Inspector Armand Gamache and his team of investigators are called in to the scene of a suspicious death in a rural village south of Montreal. Jane Neal, a local fixture in the tiny hamlet of Three Pines, just north of the U.S. border, has been found dead in the woods. The locals are certain it’s just a tragic hunting accident, but Gamache knows something isn’t quite right and is soon certain that Jane Neal died at the hands of someone much more sinister than a careless hunter.

Facilitated by library staff member, Leena, a 10 year practitioner of Rajyoga meditation, delivers youth and adult programs on values and facilitates workshops on topics such as Harmony in Relationships, Stress Free Living, & more. She conducts classes at different Brahmakumaris locations including Piscataway New Jersey and at Peace Village Retreat Center in New York.

Anime Aficionados – Darling in the FRANXX
3:00 PM - 4:30 PM

Join us as we watch the first three episodes of this year’s mecha, sci-fi anime, Darling in the FranXX.

Plot Summary: In the distant future, humanity has been driven to near-extinction by giant beasts known as Klaxosaurs, forcing the surviving humans to take refuge in massive fortress cities called Plantations. Children raised here are trained to pilot giant mechas known as FranXX—the only weapons known to be effective against the Klaxosaurs—in boy-girl pairs. Bred for the sole purpose of piloting these machines, these children know nothing of the outside world and are only able to prove their existence by defending their race. (Source: My Anime List)

Please Note: Anime will be shown in Japanese with English subtitles. Films are for an adult and older teen audience and June include adult (rating of 17+) content.
