Coding for the Web II (Ages 10-12)

Coding for the Web II is an extension of the former Coding for the Web classes. Students can only attend if they have already attened previous, beginner level classes or have experience with coding in HTML. During this four week session, students will continue to practice coding in HTML, but will also tackle more challenging programs and start to incorporate CSS into their web pages.

Registration required. Students must bring their own laptop to classes.

Tai Chi is a gentle, low-impact exercise that provides huge health benefits to people of all ages and all physical capabilities.  Instructor Gang Huang, PhD (chemistry) will share with the audience some general knowledge about Tai Chi and will offer participants ample opportunities to follow along with him as he demonstrates movements. Dr. Huang has learned and practiced Tai Chi for many years under the guidance of Grand Masters Yang Jun, Chen Zhenglei, and Chen Yu in China and has been teaching Tai Chi since 2015. Intro to Programming in Java (Grades 6-8)

Through this course, the concepts of object-oriented programming as well as design structures will be explored.
