Drop in any time between 2-5pm, and visit our Mailbox Activity Station!  Write a postcard to your friendly librarian (or anyone you know), then decorate it with markers, rubber stamps, and stickers!  Add a diy stamp and place it in our toy mailbox. “Mail” will be collected at 5pm and displayed in the Children’s Department.  Each week will have a different writing prompt to get you started, but you can write about whatever you'd like.

Russian Book Group for Bi-Lingual Children

The program will include a book/story read aloud by an adult volunteer, as well as conversations, games and other activities aimed at improving children’s Russian vocabulary and grammar. The program is entirely in Russian, so attendees need to have at least some command of Russian. 

All children will be encouraged to participate actively. If a child would rather listen and observe, that is also okay.

Parents are welcome to stay or may choose to remain outside the room.
