Teen Take-Out Craft: Terry the Ghost

Stop by the Library any time in October, and pick up a free take-home craft kit.

The Library will provide supplies and instructions for making an adorable ghost from a terry cloth towel!  Your job is to take a kit home and have fun putting it together.  Better yet, unlike a library book, this is yours to keep!

For ages 10-18.

Pick up a kit at the Youth Services Desk.

Kits are available throughout the month during regular library hours, while supplies last.

Teens must come in person to receive a kit.

Intro to Programming in Java (Grades 6-8)

Kids will learn the fundamentals of computer science and will be introduced to Java syntax. Through this course, the concepts of object-oriented programming as well as decision structures will be explored. Students must bring their own laptop (Mac or Windows, no Chromebook), and be ready for a challenge. 

Online registration required. Once registered, you will be signed up for all ten classes: 9/10, 9/17, 9/24, 10/1, 10/8, 10/15, 10/22, 10/29, 11/12, 11/19.

Performances will be on Friday, Oct. 25th at 8 PM; Saturday, Oct. 26th at 3 PM and 8 PM; and Sunday, Oct. 27th at 3 PM.
