I Survived Science Challenge Part 2, for ages 7-10 yrs old

I Survived Science Challenge Part 2 will focus on Hurricane Katrina and the Destruction of Pompeii.  We will see if your building can endure hurricane force winds and build an erupting volcano!  (Dress for a mess!)

Star Wars Model Making for ages 8-13

This class is taught by a master model builder.  Here is how he describes the class.

Star Wars Model Making is a program for  2 & 1/2 hours which is designed to teach kids between the ages of 8 and 13 the fundamental skills required to assemble plastic model kits.

 For this particular class we will be assembling a model kit from one of the more recent Star Wars movies.

All supplies including the model kit itself will be provided. Students will simply need to bring themselves and an eagerness to learn something new and exciting!

There will be two programs of exactly the same class.  You may sign up for only one program.

 

Saturday, July 15,  2-4:30 pm.  Online registration for this program begins July 8.

Emoji scavenger hunt, all ages

For children of all ages.

Today is the last day to participate in the scavenger hunt!

Which emoji is your favorite? We are celebrating them all with a scavenger hunt around the library!

Drop-in anytime during the week of August 21st to August 26th to participate.  Find the Emojis hidden through the children’s department.

Return your answer sheet to the Youth Services Desk to enter a raffle. Two winners will be randomly chosen and will an Emoji back-to-school fun pack.

(Winners will be notified by August 29th.).

One entry per child.

No registration necessary.

Develop team work and social skills in a fun and educational setting. Presented by Judy Boisselle of Lawrence Township.
Adult caregiver should remain in the room/nearby vicinity of program.  Younger siblings are welcome to work separately with larger blocks.

Registration is required and begins at 7:00am, 3 days before the program. Those who have not registered may be admittted as space permits.
