Collage Class for Adults - Supplies Provided
6:00 PM - 7:30 PM

Join local collage artist Meghan Maxfield to learn the craft of layering images to create a unified piece of artwork! Spend the first half of class following along step by step to make a few Valentines, and the second half playing with the supplies in your supply kit while Meghan is there to guide you and answer questions.

Your kit will contain supplies to make several small Valentines for friends and loved ones, but feel free to bring along personal photos or other special papers you might want to use. If you have colored pencils, markers, or paint, you might enjoy having those nearby, but all you really need is a pair of scissors, paper towels, and something like newspaper to protect your table from getting glue on it!

Space and supplies are limited. Please email Bri at bozanne@minlib.net to register and get the Zoom link.

Supply kits will be available to pick up at the library at your convenience from January 28th - February 4th.
We apologize, but we cannot mail the kits.

Kindness Club for Adults
7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Kindness Club for Adults is part discussion, part action!

Every second Thursday of the month, we meet on Zoom to discuss a book or do an activity,  and to set specific kindness goals for ourselves to strive for during the coming month.

This month, we are discussing The Art of Showing Up: How To Be There For Yourself and Your People by Rachel Wilkerson Miller.  The book is available from the library and as an e-book or audiobook on HooplaDigital. com with your library card number, but don't worry if you haven't read it. You'll still get a lot out of joining the discussion!
