Super Self Sewing Workshop

Millvale Library is excited to be an event host for Remake Learning Days 2019! Participants will have the opportunity to sew a stuffed animal or puppet version of their "Super Self" using both hand-sewing and machine-sewing techniques.

What is a Super Self? It's an exercise in positive self-image: each participant will sketch and then sew and imagined version of themselves with super powers related to community wellness. Does your Super Self have glasses that can see air pollution? Or shoes that can turn into wheels to reduce dependence on cars? Or a heart so big that it's extra sensitive to helping people who are sad?

This is a free event and no registration is required. For ages 6+ - families are encouraged to attend!
