Open to children birth through not yet in Kindergarten
This program runs continuously and is open to Mineola cardholders and non-cardholders.
The concept is simple. Read a book (any book), on your own time (there is no '"finish by" date), to your newborn, infant, and or toddler. The goal is to have read 1,000 books (yes, you can repeat books) before your child starts kindergarten. Mark each book you read on a recording log. As you and your child reach reading milestones, bring your completed log to the Children's Desk for a small prize. Pick up a log at the Children's Desk.
