    The Tuskegee Airmen Chronology

    A Heroic Timeline

    Join Military Historian, Dr. Daniel L. Haulman, for a presentation about the Tuskegee Airmen, the first black pilots in American military service.

    Dr. Haulman will discuss all the strands of their story, including origins, training, missions the Tuskegee Airmen flew for the Twelfth and Fifteenth Air Force, and what they did after World War II. Learn about the types of aircraft they flew, the types of aircraft they escorted, the number of enemy aircraft they shot down, the number of bombers they lost to enemy aircraft (less than the other groups), and their significance in the history of the American military and the history of civil rights.

    Additional supplies may include 2B drawing pencil/ mechanical pencil, an eraser, paper towels or old towel, and a container for water.
