Summer Memory Showcase

Summer is here again, the perfect time to enjoy the great outdoors!

Let’s reminisce about the great experiences we’ve had from past summers. Share a favorite memory about an outdoor activity or summer experience. Maybe it’s your best fish story, a favorite camping trip, or a summer meal from the grill. Send us a related photo and a paragraph telling your story, and we will post it here at the library to share with the community. If you would like to customize a frame for your photo, we have DIY picture frame packs at the West Regional Library. All participants will also be entered into a prize drawing for a Mobile Public Library swag bag.

Please email your photo and your story to the West Regional Reference Desk at westref@mplonline.org with the subject “Summer Memory Showcase,” and let us know if you will be dropping off a personalized frame. Be sure to include your name and the best way to contact you. If you prefer, you can also bring your submission in person to any reference desk at the West Regional Library. We will scan your photo, so you do not need to leave any originals with us. Submissions will be accepted through July 31, 2021. If you have any questions, please call (251) 340-1643.
