Grades 3-8, 5 people maximum. Imagine your own fairy tale! In this writing group you will be learning about the structure of classic fairy tales, get the chance to write your own version, and share them with the group. This will take place outside on our front lawn and we will practice social distancing. We ask that you please wear a mask and only come if you are feeling healthy. If you do not have a mask, we will provide one for you. Rain date: August 6.

We are living in a time that feels often confusing and stressful. Incorporating meditation in our lives can be the change that can make a big difference. Join Dr. Andrew Vidich, educator, author and an international speaker as he teaches a simple meditation technique to increase personal well-being. There will even be a short meditation sitting.
ANDREW VIDICH Ph.D.
Andrew Vidich, PhD, is an, educator, international speaker, and author/editor of more than five books. His books include Love is a Secret (1990), critically acclaimed by the Institute of Noetic Sciences, which stated that "it provided a great service to readers interested in the deeper dimensions of mystical love." He was a contributing author to The Heart of the Healer, an investigation into the nature of healing (1987), which sold more than twenty thousand copies, Light Upon Light : 5 Master Pathways to Awaken the Mindful Self. His newest book, is co-authored with Art Stein and is entitled, Let There Be Light: Experiencing Inner Light Across the World’s Sacred Traditions.
Dr. Vidich has been an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Religion at Manhattan College in Riverdale, NY and at Iona College in New Rochelle where he taught courses in the nature and experience of religion, meditation, death and dying and Islamic studies. Dr. Vidich lectures and presents experiential workshops at conferences, radio and TV shows, colleges and book stores throughout the world on a variety of topics. He is the co-founder of The Interfaith Council of New York and member of World Parliament of Religions Task Force on War, Violence and Hate Speech. He has been studying meditation for 48 years under the guidance of three world renowned meditation teachers.
