Fantasy Miniature Paint Night

For grade 6–adults. Here’s a great chance to get into the painting side of gaming hobbies, and paint up a character for your game. We’ll provide a selection of miniatures and beginner paints and brushes.

This is a curbside pickup event: Stop by the parking lot between 10 am and 7 pm on the day of the program and we’ll deliver everything needed to complete the activity right to your car.

Still Standing: Comedian Tom Dreesen

Tom Dreesen has made over 500 appearances on national television as a stand-up comedian, including more than 60 appearances on The Tonight Show. He was a favorite guest of David Letterman, and frequently hosted the show in Letterman’s absence. For 13 years he toured cross country and opened for Frank Sinatra, and has appeared countless times in Las Vegas, Tahoe, Reno, and Atlantic City with artists like Smokey Robinson, Liza Minnelli, Natalie Cole, and Sammy Davis, Jr. Tom has acted in numerous television shows – from Columbo to Murder She Wrote – and appeared in motion pictures including Man on the Moon and Spaceballs.

Join him for this virtual event cohosted by Toadstool Books, where he talks about his new book, Still Standing My Journey from Streets and Saloons to the Stage, and Sinatra. Registration is required to receive information about connecting to the event.

Summer Concert Encore Performance: C’est Si Bon

For adults. Vocalist Angela Rossi brought her sweet French songs—backed by piano, bass, drum, and accordion—to the Library Plaza in this 2011 performance. Watch it with us!
