Friends' Author Visit: Ted Reinstein

Ted Reinstein, best known as a journalist for Boston’s Chronicle, has written three books: A New England Notebook: One Reporter, Six States, Uncommon Stories; Wicked Pissed: New England’s Most Famous Feuds; and New England’s General Stores: Exploring an American Classic. Join him virtually as he talks about and reads from these colorful stories. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library. Registration is required to receive information about connecting to the event.

Public Health Clinic

The City of Nashua Division of Public Health offers immunizations for $10 per person:

  • Pneumonia
  • Hepatitis A
  • Hepatitis B
  • Td (Tetanus, Diphtheria)
  • Tdap (Tetanus, Pertussis, Diphtheria)
  • Influenza (flu) shots are $15 for adults and free for children.

Also available are testing for HIV, hepatitis C, and sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). 

Confidential and private. Free or low-cost for eligible clients. If you have Medicare, please bring your card.  For more information call the City of Nashua Division of Public Health at (603) 589-4500.

Nashua Goes Back to School Night

Drive in a "reverse parade" or walk to meet your principal and get a welcome bag of school supplies. The event is not at the library this year; go to the school listed for your child's school:

Friends of the Library Popup Book Sale

We missed the big annual Friends book sale in March as much as you did! Come to this outdoor popup sale and grab some bargains to carry you through the fall and winter. Titles available will include adult fiction, and fiction and nonfiction for children. Payment is cash only. Masks are required; rain date is August 29.
