Medicaid Enrollment Assistance

Nassau-Suffolk Hospital Council’s Medicaid enrollment assistors will be in the library to provide Medicaid enrollment assistance to adults and children who are disabled or blind, and anyone over the age of 65. They can also answer any questions people may have regarding utilizing insurance, understanding their benefits, finding specialists, etc.

In this two hour workshop, you will learn interpersonal skills that will help you as you navigate the world and your relationships with other people.  Some topics covered include self-awareness, the power of words, flow vs. resistance, change, reactions, and personal power.  Learn powerful ways to approach real-life situations using self-confidence and kindness.  Presented by Sophia Valsamos Foundation.  Receive two hours of Community Service Credit for attending.  This session is limited to students in 6-8th grades.
