Calling all adults! Join in the fun as the North Bellmore, Merrick, and North Merrick libraries hold our annual Adult Summer Reading Program! This year’s theme is “Libraries Rock!” although any type of reading is encouraged. Starting Tuesday, June 12th, patrons can sign up online at www.NBLSummerReading.com or at the Reference Desk (in our temporary location).
All participants are invited to our end-of-the-summer party, held at the Merrick Library on Thursday, August 16th at 7pm. We are humbled and excited to announce author Fiona Davis, a popular fiction writer, as the guest speaker for the evening. Following the author talk will be raffles for participants. Come join and enjoy some great summer reading!

Teen Summer Reading Club 2018
Our old building may be closed for renovation, but we’re still rocking! Visit us at our temporary location to sign up for the Teen SRC! All North Bellmore students entering grades 6 through 12 in September can join NBL’s summer reading club. As a member you will read books, write reviews of the books you have read, and submit them for a chance to win the weekly raffle. If you submit at least one book review this summer you will get an exclusive invitation to a private viewing of The Darkest Minds at the JJ Bellmore Playhouse on August 15th. When you sign up for the SRC you will get a bag of goodies and a chance to guess how many candies are in the jar at the Reference Desk. The closest guess wins the whole jar!
