Knit Tails* (*Scarves) for Charity: Part One

Help someone in need this summer by knitting, crocheting, or weaving hats, scarves, or both for an individual in our area who may be struggling. Knit Lit will then donate these items to KnitHope, an organization in the Pittsburgh area that collects and distributes handmade items to those in need. For more information, check out KnitHope's website at www.knithope.org. They are hoping for lots of black or grey hats this year to meet the demand. Not surprisingly, Pittsburghers love black and gold patterns! In addition, if you do not know how to knit, but would like to learn, we can teach you!

Join us outside on the side lawn behind the book drops. We ask that you wear a mask if you haven't been vaccinated, maintain social distancing and to bring something to sit on. In case of bad weather, this event will take place via Zoom. Registration is required so we have a way to share the Zoom meeting invitation link.
