Ready to lighten up a little during the dark winter months? From classic humorists such as Mark Twain to unexpected humorists such as Shirley Jackson to more contemporary writers such as Ogden Nash, Judith Viorst, and David Sedaris, there are an abundance of works that use wry, whimsical, or satirical devices to make their point with a smile. Join presenter Roz Kubek for a fun, lively, and interesting Zoom introduction to some great humorists and a sampling of their works. We’ll talk about the tools available to the writers and what makes us grin.
