Cinema of Law: Gideon's Army

Cinema of Law returns for a new season.

 "Gideon's Army" (2013) will be introduced by retired public defender Richard LeBlanc. "Gideon’s Army" is a documentary film that follows three young attorneys from a public defenders’ office in the South as they go over police reports, meet with clients, go over closing arguments in court, and share their worries while a jury deliberates on a verdict.

This program has been approved for Forum Credit for Berkshire Community College students.

Free and no registration required.

The Cinema of Law series presents law related films and commentary. It is  a collaboration among the Berkshire Law Library, the Berkshire Bar Association and the Friends of the Berkshire Athenaeum .

Cinema of Law returns for a new season.

 "Bob Roberts" (1992) will be introduced by Attorney Michael Hinkley This satirical film follows the political career of the fictitious Bob Roberts, a millionaire businessman and musician who runs for the U.S. Senate with an ultra-conservative populist campaign.  

This program has been approved for Forum Credit for Berkshire Community College students.
