Memory Screening

Memory Screening

memory screening

Senator Kemp Hannon, EAC Network and the Alzheimer's Foundation of American are conducting a FREE memory screening
on Tuesday, October 16th 10am to Noon at the Plainedge Library.  Screenings take about 10 to 15 minutes and are confidential.

Screenings consist of a series of questions to gauge memory, language and thinking skills.  Participants will be provided with
the results on site.  Results are not a diagnosis, but a memory screening can suggest if someone should see a physician for a full

evaluation. It is estimated that 5.1 million Americans may have Alzheimer's disease. It is not a normal part of aging,
but the risk of developing the illness increases with advanced age.

Reservations are required.  Please call Senator Hannon's Community Office at 516-739-1700 to make an appointment.
