Local Author Anastasia Mills Healy will discuss her book Secret Connecticut: A Guide to the Weird, Wonderful, and Obscure. Anastasia is an award-winning travel writer and editor who decided to focus her attention on Connecticut during the Pandemic. What she learned inspired her to write Secret Connecticut including that a Connecticut resident inspired the character of Indiana Jones, was president before George Washington, and flew before the Wright Brothers. Hear these stories and more during her presentation.
Anastasia Mills Healy is an award-winning travel writer and editor who was formerly on staff at Conde Nast Traveler, Fodor's, and Travel Agent. She now freelances for publications including Lonely Planet, Time Out, and Frommer's, and she's a proud member of professional organizations including the Society of American Travel Writers. A Greenwich resident for many years, Anastasia has been to 64 countries (her goal is 100) and all 50 U.S. states.
