How Music Works with Barry Wiesenfeld
2:30 PM - 4:00 PM

Part 3 of 3. This series is for music fans and beginning musicians who wish to understand the components of music, and how these components fit together. The basics of chords and chord progressions, melody and harmony, and the evolution of music are discussed - but this is a flexible curriculum, and class interests and experience will play a part in dictating our direction. How Music Works is designed for teens and adults. You do not need a knowledge of music to attend this class - only a desire to learn!  Barry Wiesenfeld is a freelance musician, a published author and is on the music faculty of SUNY and Ramapo College. He has accompanied Grammy-winning artists, performed on three continents, and has played on numerous recordings, radio and TV.   (Reserved snow dates are Feb 2 and Feb 9).

How Music Works with Barry Wiesenfeld (Snow Date)
2:30 PM - 4:00 PM

2:30 PM - 4:00 PM

This series is for music fans and beginning musicians who wish to understand the components of music, and how these components fit together.

The process of getting a book proposal accepted by a traditional publisher can feel grueling, although not without its rewards.
