Clap and sing along to tunes, while working on fine and gross motor skills and following directions with Ms. Patty's help. Individual registration is required for each child participating. We are accepting 15 children for this program.

We are excited to host therapy dogs at the library in partnership with Animal Friends. Register at the Youth Service's desk for your 20-minute time slot to read to these furry friends. Pre-K to Grade 3
Bring a bag lunch and picnic as you watch nature unfold with the Kratt brothers on the big screen. Ms. Linda will make learning fun! Get a universe of information on that week’s Wild Kratt topic. Individual registration is required for each child participating. We are accepting 15 children for this program. No walk-ins are permitted.

For Kindergarten through Grade 2
Join the Carnegie Science Center's Mobile Fab Lab team and discover both technological and natural worlds by using CAD software to create laser cut animal tracks! Your child will start to build essential skills in making and storytelling.
To join us for this program, your child must be actively logging their summer reading in Beanstack. Registration is required for each child participating. We are accepting 16 children for this program.

Suggested for ages 1 to 2 ½ years
Join Ms Patty for songs, fingerplays, and a story with your little one! Individual registration is required for each child participating. We are accepting 15 children for this program.

For Grades K to 3
Peters Township Public Library "Oceans of Possibilities" Summer Reading Program will adopt a Manatee. Register at the Youth Services Desk for a time slot to build your very own Manatee. A $5 minimum per child donation is suggested to build your manatee. This donation will go directly to the "Save the Manatee" organization. We will adopt a Manatee and have a contest to name our adopted Manatee.

For Grades 1 to 6
Mr. Pete, our local Chess Champion, is back and ready to share the basics of how to play chess in person! He will be sharing basic chess play techniques and skills to make your game even better. A library staff member will be assisting Mr. Pete during each session. Individual registration is required for each child participating. We are accepting 14 children for this program.
