Date TBD: Virtual Murder Mystery Party

Experience a murder mystery as if you were part of the movie CLUE! Guests are invited to a mysterious mansion, and upon their arrival, discover that they are ALL being blackmailed! When the lights go out and someone ends up dead, it’s up to participants to find the real killer among the quirky suspects; the suspicious widow, the retired lieutenant, and the cat crazed shut-in to name a few. It’s bragging rights for you if you can get out of the mansion alive!

Please Note: This party will be hosted by a Murder Mystery Company and to make it a success, we need 15 or more people registered. The Mystery Party will run for approximately 2.5 hours. Open to non-residents of Ramara (ie - invite your friends from around the province to play!).

Simcoe Author Talk Series: Victoria Butler (Virtual)

Join Ramara Public Library virtually as they collaborate with Barrie Public Library, Collingwood Public Library, Clearview Public Library, Essa Public Library, Innisfil Idea Lab and Library, Midland Public Library, New Tecumseth Public Library, Penetanguishene Public Library, Springwater Public Library and Wasaga Beach Public Library for the Simcoe Author Talk Series!

Victoria Butler is a writer from Barrie, ON. She is the Poet Laureate of said hometown from 2018 until 2022 and is the first woman to carry the title. She is the co-founder and editor-in-chief of “The Northern Appeal,” a biannual, not-for-profit, literary journal that publishes work by creatives in Simcoe County and Muskoka. She is currently completing her Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing at the University of Toronto.

Little Miracles - "[It] explores a myriad of human emotions through the eyes of a young woman who is fiercely dedicated to where she comes from, all while trying to figure out where she’s going.” However, if you were to ask Butler herself about her work, her answer would be strikingly different: “[It’s essentially] everything I’ve written that isn’t complete garbage in the [last] three years.”

Butler lives with her cat, Zelda, and too many candles.

Register here.
