Author Talk:  Master Thieves: The Boston Gangsters Who Pulled off the World's Greatest Art Heist by Stephen Kurkjian

Nearly 28 years ago, thieves broke into the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston and stole thirteen artworks valued at up to $500 million. The artworks have never been found and the theft is one of the greatest unsolved mysteries.

Stephen Kurkjian, one of the top investigative reporters in the country, has been working this case ever since.  His book "Master Thieves: The Boston Gangsters Who Pulled off the World's Greatest Art Heist" reveals the identities of those involved, the motive for the crime and new details. Join us as we welcome Pulitzer prize winning author Stephen Kurkjian to share one of the most complete and compelling versions of this story ever told.

Books will be available for purchase and signing.

Note: Brazilian director Jose Padilha has come on board to develop the art heist drama “Master Thieves” as a possible feature film for Sony. Read it before you see it.  Stay tuned for more information.
