Books On Tap Reading Group
6:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Books. Bites. Brews. What a great combination! We’ve partnered with O’Reilly’s Cure in Scarborough to offer a new book group—Books on Tap—moderated by Tom Corbett, our Systems Librarian (and beer enthusiast). Here’s how it works: Arrive between 5:30 pm and 6:00 pm and settle into the lounge area; purchase bites and beverages from O’Reilly’s menu; then share good conversation about this month's book selection: The One-In-A-Million Boy, by Monica Wood.

Minecraft Miner Day
1:00 PM - 4:00 PM

With the help of our teen development team, the library has its own dedicated Minecraft server!  Moving forward, we'll have some surprises waiting for you and your friends to discover in our uniquely Maine Minecraft worlds. Watch for Minecraft Miner Days and other special events.

Don't have a Minecraft account?  No problem.  We'll provide you with one while at the library during one of our upcoming Miner Days. On these days we'll be serving up Minecraft at the library, and providing registration for remote access from home if you have your own Minecraft account.  Come have some fun, and maybe learn something too!  Note: Parents must remain in the Library if child is under 10 yrs. old.
