This is a STEM-based playgroup for preschoolers.

Young children are natural-born scientists and engineers. Explore the world around you through science, technology, engineering and math with everyday activities.

This program is sponsored by the South Shore Community Action Council's Office of Coordinated Family and  Community Engagement.

For ages 3-5.

Maker's Workshop: Make a Mancala Board

Make a Mancala game board and learn to play one of the world's oldest games! Express your artistic side as you create a mancala board to take home.

Mancala encourages math and strategy skills and is suitable for all ages. Participants will be given instruction on how to play the game.

For Kindergarten and up. Adult supervision is required for children under 8 years old.
