What do you do with a chair that has a loose leg?
A toaster that doesn’t work anymore?
Don’t throw them away, bring them to Repair Café!

This neighborhood initiative promotes repair as an alternative to tossing things out. Anyone can bring their broken, but cherished, items to be fixed on the spot for FREE with the help of volunteer repair coaches. Limit of 2 items per household please.

Kids can explore how things work at the take-apart table. Coffee and refreshments will be served.

Marsha Lazarus brings a wealth of career readiness and workplace training experience.  She is especially proud of her ability to assist individuals to more fully recognize their strengths, what excites them and those positions that match these qualities/values.  She also has an excellent track record of connecting job seekers who have stayed engaged in the job-seeking process to well-matched job opportunities. She recently left her position as the Director of Workforce Development with the Mental Health Association in N.Y.S.
