Teen Writing Camp

Professor and author Jack Rightmyer and storyteller Marni Gillard will lead teens through writing exercises, practice, and story sharing.

This 5 day camp will take place live through ZOOM. It takes place 10 am-2:30 pm, Monday through Friday, July 27 - 31.

Registration is required, please click on the button below to register. Registration will close Friday July 24 at 5p.

ZOOM link and password will be emailed 30 minutes prior to the start of writing camp, so make sure to include an email address when you register.

Video Game Programming with Python

Celebrate International Games week by learning how to design a video game. In this Python course, our gamers design and code their very own video games. Participants learn the fundamentals of game theory, logic and coding by building creative games and brain teasers! The curriculum includes Math and English Language Arts concepts, leveraging functions, decision trees and story telling. Registration is required.  Please register online, in person at any branch or by calling (518) 386-2245. Pizza will be served at the end of each session. [Grades 5-11]

PLEASE NOTE: This is a two day program, with the second day building on the first.  Participants are expected to attend both sessions.

This program is taught by Tinker and Fiddle.
