Teens in grades 6-12 that love to write are invited to join. We usually pick a writing prompt, do some writing, and then share; but sharing is not mandatory. We are very welcoming to new members. This special edition of Paws for Reading will have therapy dog, Eleanor Roosevelt,and her handler, Laura, who is a social worker with the Schenectady City School District. She will be sharing a story called Gizmo's Pawesome Guide to Mental Health that helps kids talk about BIG emotions. This book takes an upstream approach to support the mental health and wellness of youth. Kids will complete activities, and have an opportunity to read to Eleanor at the end.

This program will be conducted in accordance with Schenectady County COVID-19 protocols.

Calling all future engineers, architects, and artists! Help the Glenville Branch Library decorate for the winter season. Use MakeDos and cardboard to design a gingerbread house for our program room. Younger siblings and friends are welcome to assist with frosty decorations.
