This a self-directed creative arts activity for adults only held from 1pm to 3pm in the small meeting room on the first Friday of each month. There will be a short staff demonstration of a crafting skill at 1pm then the space is turned over to you, the creatives. Bring your knitting, crocheting or other small portable works in progress and share time with fellow artisans. Or explore our small collection of patterns and project materials. The recipe for June is okonomiyaki which is a *popular Japanese street food* that uses *in season vegetables* that we can find locally. We will discuss both meat and vegetarian versions of the recipe. Please join us on the third Thursday of every month to see a small demonstration and taste the recipe of the month. The Scott Township Public Library (STPL) is currently seeking a new board member.  This is an excellent way to give back to your community and advocate for the Library.  The STPL Board meets 9-10 times a year on the 2nd Monday of each month at 6:30pm.  STPL Board members also assist with library policy, fundraising initiatives, and special events.  If interested, please send a letter of interest and current resume to Gina Leone, Director at leoneg@einetwork.net.  Interested applicants must be at least 18 years of age and be a current resident of Scott Township (or a member of an adjacent community that does not have a library).

The Scott Township Public Library (STPL) is currently seeking a new board member.  This is an excellent way to give back to your community and advocate for the Library.  The STPL Board meets 9-10 times a year on the 2nd Monday of each month at 6:30pm.  STPL Board members also assist with library policy, fundraising initiatives, and special events.  If interested, please send a letter of interest and current resume to Gina Leone, Director at leoneg@einetwork.net.  Interested applicants must be at least 18 years of age and be a current resident of Scott Township (or a member of an adjacent community that does not have a library).
