This September Love Your Library!

A library brings value to the community. It teaches, inspires, opens doors, and creates community.

This September, libraries across Allegheny County are inviting residents to participate in a special fundraising collaboration to show support for their local library.  Love Your Library, a county-wide campaign developed by the Allegheny County Library Association and Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, encourages residents to show their library love by investing in their libraries.

This unique campaign coincides with the American Library Association’s National Library Card Sign-Up Month, which introduces the community to the wide variety of services local libraries provide – from text to high-tech.

*Your donation will have a pro-rated MATCH thanks to generous support from the Jack Buncher Foundation.

Join us each month to play board games, card games, and more together! Each game session we will have at least one classic game that you probably grew up playing, and one that has been released recently. We'll decide what to play at the beginning of our time depending on interests and how many people we have.

This event is for adults and teens, but if you have or know a kid who also wants to play, kids' game night is at the same time and, tonight only, in the same room so everyone can have game night fun!
