Grades 5-12

During the holiday season it's easy to get caught up and forget about those in need. In this program, teens will purchase as many items on the donation list provided when they register. The donation list can be picked up at Reference or emailed to you. You will have a month to purchase as many donations as possible and drop them off at Reference by Friday, December 10th.   Ms. Jillian will be sorting and bagging them up since the COVID-19 virus is still a threat. An hour of community service will be given for this program. Donations will go to For the Love of Pete’s Pantry.  Register now.

Bus Trip: Christmas Spectacular Show at Radio City Music Hall

Registration begins Tuesday, November 9th at the Circulation Desk.

Cost: $104 pp includes: orchestra seats, bus, and tip.

We will travel by luxury motor coach for a matinee performance of "The Christmas Spectacular" starring the incomparable Radio City Rockettes.  After the show, you will have time on your own for lunch, shopping, and sightseeing (Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree, 5th Ave. holiday decorated storefront windows, St. Patrick's Cathedral, and more.) Everyone will need to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination to enter Radio City Music Hall.  We will leave for NYC at 8:30am from TOH parking lot next to the Library and depart NYC at 3:30pm to return.  Seaford Library/School District residents only on the first day of registration. Pay by check only.  Limited seats available. Each person on line may register for one other person.

Grades 5-12

Kids and caregivers will enjoy painting a glass tea light with white paint and applying a layer of salt to give this snowman a glittery finish. Add some buttons and a scarf for embellishment and kids will have a fun snowman shaped tea light to light up for winter fun. Registration begins Monday, November 15th.

Join A Time for Kids in this Full Steam Ahead program. With just a few common household materials they will become scientists conducting an experiment called “Blubber Glove”. Children will explore how blubber keeps arctic animals from feeling the cold air and water as we reach our hands into ice water with our blubber gloves!

PreK-Grade 3
