DECONSTRUCTING INVESTMENT PLATFORM & FINANCIAL SERVICES FEE STRUCTURES, an AAII Personal Financial Planning Special Interest Group (SIG) Presentation - Tuesday, February 27th, 7 pm.  Knowing how to determine what combination of financial services and related costs is right for you is a critical part of managing your investments and finances.  Attend this session to learn more about investment/financial service compensation models including revenue-sharing fees, 12b-1 fees, mutual fund share classes, custodial fees, transaction/trading costs and trustee fees.  This discussion will include comparisons of active vs passive index management,  mutual funds vs. Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) and a checklist of questions that you can ask to make sure that your structure is in line with your objectives.
