Author Niki Kapsambelis Talks About Her Fascinating Book - The Inheritance

THIS PROGRAM IS BEING RESCHEDULED - SORRY FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE

If you learned that you may carry a genetic defect that guarantees you will develop Alzheimer's disease in your 40's, would you want to know?

For one large North Dakota family, that was the devastating news that they learned 14 years ago. But when they learned that a startling number of them had inherited the gene, they made the courageous choice to fight back. They became the ideal test subjects for experimental treatments that may hold the key to finally solving this disease.

Her book The Inheritance A Family on the Front Lines of the Battle Against Alzheimer's Disease, by Niki Kapsambelis will present the story of the family and the current state of Alzheimer's research, followed by a Q &A and a book signing.

There are 79 spaces available.
