November Book Discussion: Doubt

Join Denise Stankovics to discuss Doubt by John Patrick Stanley.

When an unpopular nun who is principal of a Catholic school in the Bronx in the 1960s suspects that one of the parish priests is paying undue attention to one of the boys, she confronts him but cannot
prove his guilt because neither the boy nor his mother is willing to back her. Despite the priest's past history of questionable behavior, the Bishop moves him to another parish with a school, leaving doubts concerning his guilt or innocence.

Copies of the book are available at the library. Please call 860-763-3501 to reserve your copy and register for this event.
