OutSpoken Words: Master Class with Springfield's Poet Laureate

Join this master class with Springfield's Poet Laureate, Magdalena Gómez, for an introduction to writing and performing poetry in ways that invite/excite/inspire! Out/Spoken Words is for participants at ALL levels in their poetry writing and performance, for anyone who truly loves poetry and/or spoken word and wants to share that passion with others. You will be provided with tools and encouragement to conjure poems and voice for performance of your original writing at the culminating event. This  Master Class is made possible by the Academy of American Poets with funds from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. This two-part session, October 16 and 23, at East Forest Park is for young women 14 to 19 years old. Space is very limited in each of the cohorts with pre-registration required. We ask that when you register, you commit to both sessions.

OutSpoken Words: Master Class with Springfield's Poet Laureate

Join this master class with Springfield's Poet Laureate, Magdalena Gómez, for an introduction to writing and performing poetry in ways that invite/excite/inspire! Out/Spoken Words is for participants at ALL levels in their poetry writing and performance, for anyone who truly loves poetry and/or spoken word and wants to share that passion with others. You will be provided with tools and encouragement to conjure poems and voice for performance of your original writing at the culminating event. This  Master Class is made possible by the Academy of American Poets with funds from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. This two-part session, October 16 and 23, at East Forest Park is for young women 14 to 19 years old. Space is very limited in each of the cohorts with pre-registration required. We ask that when you register, you commit to both sessions. Please register at the listing for the class on the 16th for both sessions.

OutSpoken Words: Master Class with Springfield's Poet Laureate

Join this master class with Springfield's Poet Laureate, Magdalena Gómez, for an introduction to writing and performing poetry in ways that invite/excite/inspire! Out/Spoken Words is for participants at ALL levels in their poetry writing and performance, for anyone who truly loves poetry and/or spoken word and wants to share that passion with others. You will be provided with tools and encouragement to conjure poems and voice for performance of your original writing at the culminating event. This  Master Class is made possible by the Academy of American Poets with funds from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
