April is National Poetry Month! The Central Library will hold a Digital Poetry Contest from April 1st to the 20th. Adults, Teens, and Children are encouraged to participate by uploading their best poem to the St. John the Baptist Parish Library’s Facebook Page. Submitting your poem is easy! Simply go to our Facebook Page, locate the post for your age group (Adult, Teen, or Children), and upload your entry beneath the main post. Then tell your friends and family to like your entry. The poem with the most likes will win a prize in each age group.  Poems may be submitted in written form or as a video. If you aren’t a poet, but know someone who is, please encourage them to enter! Entries must be submitted by April 20th! The winners will be announced on April 29th!
