JOIN OUR ROBOTICS TEAM! Learn to design, build and program robots. Students Grades 5th through 8th will have the opportunity to:

• Design, build and program robots using LEGO MINDSTORMS® technology 
• Apply real-world math and science concepts 
• Research challenges facing today’s scientists 
• Learn critical thinking, team-building and presentation skills 
• Participate in a regional tournament that attracts over 700 students 
• Learn programming languages including JavaScript 
• Access on-line tools such as Robot Simulators and Development Environments 
• Present a research project about the 2023 “Master Piece” Challenge. 

This program series runs from August 12th to December 16th. To register, enter your name and child’s name on the sign-up sheet at the front desk of Swissvale Library.
