Museum of Bad Art
7:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Museum Of Bad Art 101

Presented live via Zoom!

The Museum Of Bad Art is a unique Massachusetts institution, and as far as we know, the only one of it's kind in the world!

MOBA collects, exhibits, and celebrates art that will be seen in no other venue.

Join museum curator, Louise Reilly Sacco, for this fun introduction to the collections and mission of MOBA.

This is art too bad to be ignored!

What is MOBA?

What makes art "bad"?

The pieces in the MOBA collection range from the work of talented artists gone awry to works of exuberant, although crude, by artists barely in control of the brush. What they all have in common is a special quality that sets them apart in one way or another from the merely incompetent.

Here's what The Smithsonian has to say about it: "Sometimes a work of art is characterized by a string of failures, but nonetheless ends up being a gorgeous freak accident of nature"

Registration is required. You will receive the Zoom link the day of the event.

NEW Virtual Movie Club with Adam and Nicole
8:00 PM - 9:00 PM

MOVIE CLUB with Adam and Nicole (co-hosted by Stacy Schuttler)

This is a  virtual club for people who love movies!! We will pick all-time favorite to discuss each month live on ZOOM.

Watch the movie at home. Zoom with us to discuss what you think!!

February's Movie

Casablanca

Casablanca': The most loved film ever

You can request a copy with our curbside request form. Click here!

What did the critics have to say???

“Film is splendid anti-Axis propaganda, particularly inasmuch as the propaganda is strictly a by-product of the principal action and contributes to it instead of getting in the way...an A-1 entry at the b.o.” - Variety Review, Dec. 1942

Propaganda turns into a quintessential love story as time goes by. We couldn’t think of a better movie to discuss with Valentine’s Day right around the corner.

Join us, Adam and Nicole, on Thursday, February 11th at 8PM to discuss Casablanca.

Click here to read the full review from Variety’s archives.

Join us as we read through the presidents of the United States!
The idea is to not only learn a few things, but to get a deeper understanding the role the presidency has played in this nation's history!
In the midst of a recent discussion, we came to the realization that our knowledge of much of American history was wanting. We decided to undertake a journey through the American presidency from beginning to end starting with George Washington, reading a biography of each president in the order they served. The hope is that this will acquaint us with not only each President, but also the history of the time in which they lived and died.
