January's Movie

Who Framed Roger Rabbit?

What did the critics have to say???

“‘Who Framed Roger Rabbit’ is sheer, enchanted entertainment from the first frame to the last - a joyous, giddy, goofy celebration of the kind of fun you can have with a movie camera.” - Roger Ebert

Hollywood. 1947. Toons and humans living in relative harmony, raking in the money for movie studios hand over fist. Eddie Valiant, a washed up gumshoe, gets himself mixed up in a slapstick murder investation that takes him to Toontown and back.

And we get to sit back, relax and watch the refrigerators come down in spades. What better way to ring in the new year?

Join us, Adam and Nicole, on Thursday, January 14th at 8PM to discuss Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

Click Here to read Ebert’s glowing review.

What did the critics have to say???

“Film is splendid anti-Axis propaganda, particularly inasmuch as the propaganda is strictly a by-product of the principal action and contributes to it instead of getting in the way...an A-1 entry at the b.o.” - Variety Review, Dec. 1942

Propaganda turns into a quintessential love story as time goes by. We couldn’t think of a better movie to discuss with Valentine’s Day right around the corner.

Join us, Adam and Nicole, on Thursday, February 11th at 8PM to discuss Casablanca.
