Vintage Radio Players
2:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Step back in time and connect with the radio shows that today's seniors grew up hearing in the 1940s and 1950s! This group meets biweekly to read classic scripts, and will perform at local personal care homes and in the library. With the help of our experienced group leader, we will be reenacting these shows as they were originally broadcast, including sound effects. This is a great group for teenagers interested in performance or media; adults who want to connect with the elders in our community; and anyone interested in the rich history of American popular culture.

2:00 PM - 3:30 PM

What do you make? Poems? Cabinets? Cartoons? Desserts? Sweaters?

Everyone has the capacity to be creative, and creativity manifests in different ways for everyone. But creative work can be lonely, and many creative people struggle with discouragement and self-doubt. That's why we started the Creativity Cafe: to support each other'screative journeys!

Each month we'll meet to share food and fellowship, and talk about creativity's role in our lives. Every kind of maker is welcome!
