Sunday, June 11th- Custom Cocktail Tumbler

Make your own custom cocktail tumbler using decals created with our cricut machine. You can either submit a decal proposal prior to this event or bring your own devices with the cricut design space app already downloaded, to create your own designs at the time of the event with help from our makerspace coordinator, Anneliese Lomas.
Must be 18 or older to participate in this program. Registration Required.

Thursday, June 15th @ 3:00-4:00 p.m. in the Community Room. Teens. Registration appreciated, drop-ins welcome.
Stop by the community room to upcycle something of your own, or create something new just in time for pride! Bring your own shoes, bags, or other clothes to decorate and we'll provide the rest. Nothing to bring? No problem. Make some jewelry, buttons, or other accessories completely from scratch.

Animal Embassy Presents: Creating Kindness Through Creatures
Thursday, July 20th, @ 2 PM. Community Room. Ages 5+. Registration Required.
Whether they have fur, feathers, fins or scales, animals come in many different forms, just like their human counterparts. Long, tall, big or small, we are all important to the world that surrounds us.
In this program we'll learn the importance of appreciating our similarities as well as celebrating our differences, while meeting a diversity of live Animal Ambassadors such as Kumbia the Red-Foot Tortoise, Leche the Guatemalan Milk Snake, Hairy the Long Haired Rabbit & Solomon the Solomon Islands Monkey-Tailed Skink. We will discover the value each creature has in its natural environment, and how its appearance and behavior help it to survive.

Al Decant Presents: Let's Be Kind with Pete the Cat!

Join us as Al Decant performs his newly written musical program Let's Be KIND (with a guest appearance from Pete the Cat)! This performance emphasizes kindness and empathy through interactive original songs.
Al is a critically acclaimed concert performer and educator who has entertained thousands of young people through his music and storytelling.


One World Children's Concert with Chris Merwin.
Friday, July 28th, 2PM. Community Room. All Ages. Registration Required.
Join us at the library for this fun, educational, and highly interactive concert. Chris has spent over 20 years studying various instruments from around the world, such as steel drums, the Japanese shakuhachi flute, and a 10-foot Tibetan trumpet. Children will get to sing, jam, and dance along to the music as they learn about music from around the world.
