Learn and experience cooking and baking ideas to use with your preschoolers that don't involve using a stove top or oven.  Encourage the little ones to get involved in creating and helping in the kitchen at home.  Pass on your lessons to the parents of your students so they can continue cooking and baking as a family. Presented by Teresia O'Hala

Program begins at 6pm preceded by a light meal at 5:30 pm for those who register in advance. Please use Registration form through Park and Recreation Dept. Certificates of attendance will be provided for those requiring them.

A Little Bit o' Erin with Tom Callinan

This year marks Tom’s 40th consecutive year of performing pre-St. Patrick’s Day programs at the Wallingford Public Library. His repertoire of Irish and Irish-American songs, tales, and tunes will be augmented with some of his original compositions, which recount his travels to the Emerald Isle and his family’s ethnic heritage. With hands clapping and toes tapping to the lilt of his pennywhistle and ocarina, Tom’s participatory songs and antics reach out to audiences of all ages!

Integrity: A Critical Challenge for Preschools

Integrity is defined as the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles, or the state of being whole and undivided. In this workshop we will explore ways to create a culture of integrity in your programs. What do you do in your program when no one is watching?
