This year’s Mini Golf proceeds support the library’s Summer Reading Programs. Summer reading is critical for children and teens to retain knowledge and skills learned in the previous school year so they don’t fall behind their classmates. The Library also encourages summer reading for adults because reading improves health and happiness, and why should the kids have all the fun?! The Library’s Summer Reading Program provides quality activities that are fun and promote lifelong learning for all ages!

Shoreline Ringers - Educational Program on Handbells
7:00 PM - 8:15 PM

Learn about the art of handbell ringing with the Shoreline Ringers, a community handbell choir formed in 2006.

Their goals are to support the continued development of the art of handbell ringing and promote the ringing of handbells as a musical art form, while educating and entertaining audiences. The handbell ringers, some of whom direct other handbell choirs, have a breadth of ringing experience and have come together to learn a more advanced repertoire.

This presentation will review the history of bells, a variety of techniques, a few performance pieces, and encourage audience participation. It promises to be fun for all ages!

No registration required.
