"Our life is frittered away by detail. Simplify, simplify." We encourage you to take a break and join us for selected readings from the journals of and books by Henry David Thoreau.  We'll offer you a cool drink or a cup of coffee while you enjoy the readings by local residents.  While other writers from his time have faded into obscurity, Thoreau has endured because so much of what he wrote about is still relevant today.

Video Training with CTV-192
7:00 PM

Charter Communications Local Access Channel CTV-192, invites you to learn about video production training opportunities. Everyone seems to own a video camera these days, but no one tells you at the store how to use it effectively. For most of us it's a lot of trial and plenty of error. The staff at CTV-192, your local channel, wants to show you how you can create better videos. In a 60-90 minute presentation you can learn how to plan, shoot, and edit a local production to share on CTV-192 and the web. This FREE opportunity is open to anyone over 17 years old. (CTV collaborates with local schools to provide numerous opportunities for students age 17 and under). Dust off that old camera, pick up your GoPro or Iphone and stop by on to find new energy in the creative medium of video production. For more information on CTV-192 go to their website  communityvision21.com or follow at facebook.com/ctv192.
