Sponsored by the Sisters of Saint Joseph, Tutors on Wheels is an adult literacy program that offers ESL training, GED, or help with passing the Citizenship test. The program is offered to low income individuals residing and working in DuPage County. Students receive one-on-one training in their own neighborhood, church or job site. Creating an estate plan can be an emotional topic. It is difficult to address your own mortality and talk about what will happen to your loved ones when you are no longer here. No matter how uncomfortable the issues are surrounding the estate plan, it is important to get past that hesitation and provide a roadmap to your survivors. Learn the basics of creating an estate plan and why it’s necessary for your family’s security. Presented by the Chicago Estate Planning Council, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to educate and increase public understanding of the need for competent estate planning.

CANCELLED - This mental math program is a complete brain exercise for kids that triggers their whole brain development. The program uses the abacus as a tool to train kids to do calculations mentally. This program is hosted by ALOHA Math of Bloomingdale. Please note there will be no Mind Math in May.

Genealogy Club meets on the fourth Thursday of the month - except in December - from 6:30 p.m. - 8:45 p.m. Local History Librarians provide internet and archival genealogy instruction and research support. Members share ideas and meet other researchers, receive help with research questions and brick wall dilemmas, and share genealogy finds. Use of the genealogy collection in the Local History Department and individual help and instruction is also available.
