There is no substitute for examining specimens "live" through the eyepiece.

We reinforce what students learn in school in a Fun way! We answer the question, "What can I do with a career in Biology?" For students in middle and high school and all who are curious about the phenomenon of Life!

In May of 2017, the Darby Free Library was honored to be selected from among hundreds of libraries in America to receive the prestigious NASA@MYLIBRARY Grant. Only 75 libraries across America were selected to win this award.

Seventy-five U.S. public libraries were selected to receive resources, training and support through NASA@ My Library, a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) education initiative that will increase and enhance STEM learning opportunities for library patrons throughout the nation, including geographic areas and populations currently underserved in STEM education. Forty-nine states are represented.

We are off to an auspicious inception!
