Tarot Cards: From Renaissance to Modern Day

Join Master Tarot Counselor, local East Haddam resident, Pamela Ryder, for a presentation on the historical development of the Tarot Cards and their journey from the Renaissance to Modern Day. Ms. Ryder will discuss the facts and flights of fancy surrounding the Tarot as well as the historical figures and events that influenced the artwork, meanings, and use. Every person in the audience will get a one card reading. 

A $1 raffle will be held after the class, with the winner receiving a free 60 minute reading with Pamela to be held at a future date. All proceeds of the raffle will be donated to the library. Registration is required for this program.

Awaken to the Power of Your Dreams

Join Grace Erhart and Dale Litalien, Level 3 Dream in the Robert Moss School of Active Dreaming, for a workshop that will teach you to better understand your dreams. 

Using the Lightning Dreamwork Technique, paticipants will listen to shamanic drumming to enter the dream space and explore the powers of all forms of dreaming--from nightime sleep, to daydreams, inner visions, even your imagination!

Food Riddle Bingo with Hot Chocolate Mousse Cups

Join Food Explorers for an afternoon of foodie fun! Test your food knowledge with a game of Food Riddle Bingo and make a delicious Hot Chocolate Mousse for a snack! Snack will be nut free but may contain dairy and/or eggs. Each child will make their own individual portion. This program is geared toward kids ages 6 and up.
