Registration is required for this event. Each 20 minute training session will end with younglings receiving the rank of "Padawan". Space is limited for this event. We will offer three different sessions with space for 10 children in each session. Please register for the time that best suits your youngling.

Food Explorers: Chocolate Chip Cinnamon Rolls

Join Food Explorers on Zoom to make to make Chocolate Chip Cinnamon Rolls! This yeast free recipe means you’ll have Cinnamon Rolls in no time. You’ll learn how to make the dough, roll it and slice into the perfect rolls. program is open to adults, teens/tweens, and families that like to cook together! Registration is required to receive a reminder and the Zoom meeting link.

Please gather the following ingredients to participate: flour (2.5 cups), white sugar, light brown sugar, cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder, 1 cup buttermilk, chocolate chips and butter (1 stick). To make the optional chocolate frosting, you’ll need cream cheese, heavy cream, cocoa powder and powdered sugar. This recipe can easily be cut in half to make approx. 8 rolls. You will need a rolling pin.

Deep River Chess Club Beginners
4:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Join us for an online chess club to hone your skills, practice puzzles and play this classic game! This class will cater to beginners. Each session will start with a chess lesson and then open for paired playing through Chess.com. This program is open to kids, tweens and teens, with the suggested age group kindergarten - 8th grade. Registration is required for the Zoom meeting link. Participants must sign up for a free account on https://www.chess.com prior to the program. 

Registering for this program will automatically enroll you for all Deep River Chess Club Beginner Sessions: 1/19, 2/2, 2/16, 3/2, 3/16, 3/30, 4/13, 4/27, 5/11.
