Blood on the tracks / Barbara Nickless

It's a night of mystery and intrigue as local author Barbara Nickless discusses Blood on the Tracks. This is the story of a young woman found brutally murdered and the main suspect is the victim's fiancé, a hideously scarred Iraq War vet known as the Burned Man. Railroad Police Special Agent Sydney Rose Parnell is brought in by the Denver Major Crimes unit to help investigate the crime, but can't shake the feeling that large forces are behind this apparent crime of passion. In the depths of an icy winter, Parnell and her canine partner, Clyde, both of whom are haunted by their time in Iraq, descend into the underground world of a savage gang of rail riders. The books will be available for purchase and autographing by the author.
