Solar Eclipse Viewing Party
1:00 PM - 3:00 PM

On Monday, August 21, there will be a total solar eclipse visible in the United States! Here in Natick, we’ll see 63.6% of the sun blocked out by the moon. This partial eclipse will begin at 1:27pm and last for 2 hours and 32 minutes. Maximum eclipse will occur at 2:46pm.

Join us for this incredible event as we learn more about how an eclipse works with fun experiments, create eclipse-themed art, and view a live-stream of the total solar eclipse.

This event will end with a viewing of the solar eclipse on our front lawn! Since it is never safe to look directly at the sun, we will have solar viewing glasses available thanks to Optica Eyewear.

LOCATION: Library Front Lawn (weather permitting)

Mentalist - Preston Heller
7:00 PM - 8:30 PM

Preston Heller will not tell you what a mentalist does. He will show you! And in so doing, every audience member will have a unique, personal experience with the “unseen”, including thought implantation or ‘influence’, revealing of information known only to the spectator, predictions, reading of body language and voice patterns, psychometry and much more.

“Seeing the Unseen” is part of his Fighting Hunger Tour. Attendees are encouraged to bring canned or dry goods for A Place to Turn Food Pantry.

This program is 100% family friendly and free but due to the nature of the subject matter it is recommended for ages 12 and up.
