“Young Scientists” with STEM Beginnings

Join STEM Beginnings for a 6-week virtual series for children, ages 3-6. Children will learn STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) concepts through hands-on activities, story time and simple experiments.

This is an interactive class using Zoom and parents/caregivers are encouraged to help their child.

Registration is required. Class size is limited to 12 children, ages 3-6, and siblings are welcome. A list of materials for families to prepare for each class will be provided weekly.

Virtual Minecraft Club

Join our Virtual Minecraft Club! We will be meeting remotely on the library's Minecraft server. You must have your own Minecraft account to participate. We will be playing with Java edition for this program. Instructions for accessing the library's Minecraft server from home will be emailed to you the day of the event. This club is for all students in grades 6-12.  Registration is required.  Please note that you will not be able to join the library's server from a PlayStation.

Preschool Explorers @ ZOOM!

Join Ms. Carly for a special Zoom story time designed for preschoolers to explore a STEAM related concept through stories, songs, and an activity or demonstration. This program is best suited for children ages 4-5, although siblings and grown ups are welcome to join the fun if they'd like. 

Register below. For the fall session. You will only need to register once through December. A link will be sent out to families to join the Zoom meeting.

Teen Take and Make Winter Hat Ornament

Stop by the library and grab a Take and Make bag!! Inside the bag you will find the supplies you will need to make your very own winter hat ornament.  Supplies included: yarn and a small piece of a toilet paper roll.  Additional supplies you will need: scissors. This craft is designed for Teens in grades 6-12. Supplies are limited, first come first serve.  Bags will be in a bin under the curbside pickup table labeled 'Teen Take and Make.'

Virtual Mother Goose on the Loose

Mother Goose on the LooseA special storytime for our littlest patrons! Mother Goose on the Loose is an early literacy program for children ages birth through 2 years. Come join us for a story, songs, rhymes, bouncing, and fingerplays! We will use musical instruments, puppets, and other props to further children's early learning skills.
 
For ages birth to 2 yrs. w/ caregiver.

Music Mashup: Fall Session
10:00 AM - 10:30 AM

Designed for children ages 2 through 5 and their whole family, this program invites children to explore movement through music, use instruments and other manipulatives, and enjoy a story or two together. 

This Zoom storytime is open to all families! Register below, and an invitation to our Zoom meeting room will be sent to your email inbox. You only have to register once, and we will use the same Zoom link each week. Weekly reminders will be sent to all registered families.
